Family Enrichment & Coaching

Strengthening Bonds and Nurturing Growth

Coaching for Parents
and the Whole Family

Family enrichment is a process by which families strengthen their relationships, increase their resilience, and promote healthy development and functioning.

Family Enrichment Coaching

Family life can feel intense—especially with neurodivergent kids, co‑parenting after divorce, or when everyone seems to be on a different page. Family Enrichment Coaching helps your family understand and support each person’s nervous system so home feels safer, calmer, and more connected.

Is This For Your Family?

Family Enrichment Coaching is designed for:

  • Families with neurodivergent children or teens who need tools that match their wiring.

  • Families navigating divorce or separation who want to reduce conflict and protect their children’s emotional well‑being.

  • Parents who long for a more cohesive, respectful, team‑like family environment.

Why the Nervous System Matters

Behavior is often a nervous system response, not “good” or “bad.” When a child is overwhelmed, their brain is in survival mode, not learning mode. In Family Enrichment, you learn how to:

  • Notice signs of stress and overload in yourself and your children.

  • Use simple regulation tools (breath, movement, sensory supports, routines) to help everyone return to a calmer state.

  • Respond to big feelings with more insight and less reactivity.

When nervous systems feel safer, communication improves, flexibility grows, and challenging behaviors often soften.

How Family Enrichment Helps

Together, Lauren coaches parents, children, and teens to:

  • Reframe behaviors through a nervous system and skills‑building lens, rather than blame or shame.

  • Practice concrete tools for emotional regulation, communication, and problem‑solving.

  • Strengthen family connection so each person feels seen, heard, and valued—even in conflict.

  • Create realistic, respectful routines that support everyone’s energy and sensitivities.

What Sessions Look Like

Family Enrichment plans are customized to your family’s needs and capacity. Options may include:

  • Weekly parent coaching sessions (25–50 minutes) to learn and apply new strategies.

  • Weekly child or teen sessions (about 20–25 minutes) focused on regulation, coping skills, and voice.

  • Monthly joint parent–child sessions to practice skills together.

All sessions are held online via Zoom for flexibility and accessibility.

Important Clarifications
