Family Enrichment & Coaching

Strengthening Bonds and Nurturing Growth

Virtual Program

Family life can feel intense—especially with neurodivergent kids, big emotions, co‑parenting after divorce, or when everyone seems to be on a different page. Family Enrichment Coaching helps your family understand and support each person’s nervous system so home feels safer, calmer, and more connected.

Family Enrichment Coaching

Coaching for Parents
and the Whole Family

Family enrichment is a process by which families strengthen their relationships, increase their resilience, and promote healthy development and functioning.

“Imagine that confidence that comes with being prepared ahead of time for your family’s journey. With a tool box of strategies, a shared language and road map, you are ready for the inevitable bumps on the road. I

When your family veers off track (as is bound to happen at some point) you have the strong connection and tools to get back on course.“

Meet Lauren Foster

Hi, I’m Lauren Foster, MS, CCC/SLP, CNHP, a nationally certified Speech-Language Pathologist and Certified Natural Health Professional with over 30 years of experience in integrative wellness, therapy, and coaching.

Early in my career, I worked one-to-one with children and teens. Over time, it became clear that the deepest and most lasting change occurred when caregivers were supported as part of the process. This insight shaped the evolution of my work from Parent Coaching to what I now call Family Enrichment Coaching.

Today, I partner with parents and caregivers of neurodivergent children, teens, and young adults, as well as those simply seeking more understanding, connection, and support in their family life.

I offer a blend of research-informed practices and holistic, nervous system-centered approaches. Together, we focus on building awareness, strengthening connection, and creating meaningful, sustainable change across the family system.

A program that I’m passionate about and co-lead is The Connected Family Community, where I provide education, coaching, and compassionate support for caregivers of neurodivergent children, teens, and young adults.

And, I’m excited to share that The Personal Power Tools curriculum, a strengths-based program currently used in schools, camps, and private practice settings is anticipated for publication 2026.

I’m always happy to connect. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to learn more or explore working together.

Why the Nervous System Matters

Behavior is often a nervous system response, not “good” or “bad.” When a child is overwhelmed, their brain is in survival mode, not learning mode.
In Family Enrichment, you learn how to:

✷ Respond to big feelings with more insight and less reactivity.

✷ Notice signs of stress and overload in yourself and your children.

✷ Use simple regulation tools (breath, movement, sensory supports, routines)
to help everyone return to a calmer state.

✷ Choose tools to use with your picky eater who may be experiencing ARFID and sensory/ oral motor/ food challenges.

When nervous systems feel safer, communication improves, flexibility grows, and challenging behaviors often soften.
