How I Support Individuals and Families

I work with individuals and families who want life to feel more connected, regulated, and sustainable. My coaching is practical and relational, and for those who are drawn to it, it also includes a deeper exploration of consciousness, energy, and our shared human connection.

Many people come to coaching because something feels off, overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck, or simply ready for change. Others come because they sense there is more available to them, more ease, clarity, and alignment. Both are welcome here.

A core part of my work is supporting the nervous system. Using a trauma informed, polyvagal and somatic approach, we focus on helping the body feel safer, calmer, and more regulated. When the nervous system is supported, insight deepens, choices expand, and meaningful change becomes possible.

I offer support in areas such as:

  • Family enrichment and parent coaching

  • Coaching for teens and young adults navigating stress, transitions, and identity

  • Support for families caring for aging or ill parents

  • Executive function coaching and self regulation support

  • Social navigation and relationship skills

  • Nutritional education and coaching for all ages

  • Gentle, practical strategies for picky eating

  • Public speaking and teaching at conferences, workshops, and seminars

  • LGBTQIA2S+ affirming, inclusive coaching

My approach meets you where you are. Sometimes that looks like practical tools and strategies. Sometimes it looks like slowing down, tuning into the body, and noticing patterns, energy, and awareness together. We move at your pace, with curiosity, compassion, and care.

You are welcome here, just as you are.

Therapeutic Approach

Speech-Language Pathologist | Holistic Wellness Advocate | Nonprofit Founder

Lauren Foster, MS, CCC-SLP, CNHP, is a nationally certified Speech-Language Pathologist and Certified Natural Health Professional with over 30 years of experience in pediatric therapy and integrative wellness. Lauren previously served as the Director of Perspectives Center for Holistic Therapy, where she lead a multidisciplinary team providing whole-child, neurodiversity-affirming care to children and families.

Passionate about bridging the gap between need and access, Lauren founded The Powerful Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding mental health support for individuals and families who are often underserved or caught in the middle.

Known for her integrative approach, Lauren combines evidence-based therapy with holistic modalities including Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Reiki, somatic tools, and nutrition to help children regulate, connect, and communicate—supporting development from the inside out.

She also co-leads The Connected Family Community, providing coaching, education, and compassionate support to caregivers of neurodivergent children, teens, and young adults.

Lauren is the co-developer of the Personal Power Tools curriculum, a strengths-based program focused on social navigation and self-regulation. It is currently used in schools, camps, and private practice settings.

At the heart of Lauren’s work is a simple but powerful mission: to build systems of support that honor each person’s unique strengths, needs, and story.
